Curious how your course will look to your students? You can use Student View to make sure everything looks the way you want it before making your course available (published) to students.

Canvas has a Student View button on the right sidebar of your course homepage. Click that button to switch to student view:

Another way to go to Student View is to go to Settings in your course:

Then click on Student View on the top right:

You will know you are in student view by the purple/pink (fuchsia) colored bar on the bottom.

Click "Leave Student View" on the bottom right to return to the normal mode of editing your course.
